Key Responsibilities

• • Teach engaging Social Science lessons (History, Geography, Civics, and Economics) for Grades 8-10, aligned with CBSE curriculum.
• • Prepare students for board exams and foundational competitive exams.
• • Facilitate interactive discussions and projects to enhance understanding of social concepts.
• • Supervise extra study hours (6:00 PM–8:00 PM, three days/week).
• • Participate in one half-day Sunday duty per month (morning session).
• • Assess student progress through tests, projects, and assignments, providing constructive feedback.
• • Provide academic and motivational guidance in a residential setting.
• • Contribute to co-curricular activities, such as quizzes, debates, or social science exhibitions.
• • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, or related field (B.A. preferred).
• • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
• • 1-2 years of experience teaching Social Science at the secondary level (Grades 8-10).
• • Strong knowledge of CBSE Social Science curriculum.
• • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• • Passion for engaging students in a residential school environment.
• • Willingness to reside on campus (accommodation provided).
• • Commitment to extra study hours and occasional Sunday duties.

Work Schedule

• • Regular Hours: 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
• • Extra Study Hours: 6:00 PM–8:00 PM, three days/week.
• • Sunday Duty: One half-day/month (morning session).
