These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the digital resources of The Nandyal Public School (the “School”), including this website, educator portfolios, video lessons, publications, and all associated content (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

All content on the Site is owned by the School or its contributors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

  • Personal, non-commercial, educational use (viewing, downloading, or printing for individual study) is permitted.
  • Any reproduction, distribution, public display, modification, or creation of derivative works is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from the School.
  • Video lessons may be viewed and shared only through their original links. Re-uploading, editing, or commercial exploitation is not allowed.
  • When sharing permitted content, appropriate attribution must be given to The Nandyal Public School and the respective educator.

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Copy, distribute, or disclose any part of the Site in any medium without authorization.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.

3. Enforcement and Remedies

The School reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates these Terms, including removal of content, suspension of access, and pursuit of civil or criminal remedies. This may include reporting violations to law enforcement authorities and cooperating with any resulting investigation.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh, India.

7. Amendments

The School may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Copyright Infringement & Takedown Procedure

The Nandyal Public School respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of its digital resources (including this website, educator portfolios, video lessons, publications, and related materials) to do the same. We respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement in accordance with applicable laws, including the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that any content on this website infringes your copyright or the copyright of someone you represent, please submit a written takedown notice containing the following information:

  • Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  • The exact URL(s) or location on the website where the allegedly infringing material appears.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

2. Submission of Notice

3. Processing of Notice

Upon receiving a valid notice:

  • We will promptly review the claim.
  • If the notice meets legal requirements, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • We may notify the user who posted the material (if identifiable) and provide them with a copy of the notice.
  • We reserve the right to terminate access for repeat infringers.

4. Counter-Notice

If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

  • Your contact information and identification of the removed material.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed mistakenly.
  • Consent to the jurisdiction of courts in Andhra Pradesh, India.

Counter-notices should be sent to the same Copyright Agent email addresses above. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material (subject to legal requirements).

5. Important Notes

  • Only copyright-related complaints should be submitted via this procedure. Other issues (e.g., privacy, defamation) should be directed to the contact emails separately.
  • Knowingly submitting false claims may result in liability for damages under applicable law.
